๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐ is the 11th song on Placebo's secong album, ๐ช๐ถ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ผ๐ ๐'๐บ ๐ก๐ผ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด., released on 12 October, 1998. It was written before Steve Hewitt joined the band. So why wasn't this song part of the first album then ? ๐ต๐๐๐๐ข๐ ๐ "๐ผ๐ก'๐ ๐กโ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ก ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐กโ๐๐ก ๐ก๐๐๐ ๐กโ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ก ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ โ." It was first performed live in October 1998, a week before the album was released and remained amongst the band's setlist from 1998 to 2001 and went back in 2010 at several festivals.
A flighty man who overindulges in the pleasures of life without regard for consequences and without regard for respect towards women pays the price, the price of self-esteem. That's what the song is about. But is this guy actually scared of women ?๐ธ

๐"Because we had never recorded it, it didn't even appear on our live playlists. At some point I remembered that song and we started trying different versions. That's when Steve joined us again and when we tried the song, it clicked and we knew it would fit this time. Still, the song took us a lot of time. It's the oldest Placebo song and also one that took the longest to finish. We changed it a lot to make it fit the modern sound we wanted for the album. We also had to change "Brick Shithouse" again. The song came over us during a soundcheck in Leipzig, we then reworked it again after the tour.'

MC5 was a famous rock band strated in 1964 ad separated in 1972. I suppose MC5 is mentioned in this sulphurous song because this American band was well-know for their provocative shows which sometimes led to the show being stopped.
When asked about MC, Stefan replied:
