We’re used to hear these lyrics sung by young 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 at the times of Without You I’m Nothing and Black Market Music tours.
Indeed, 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋𝐒, the eleventh track off Placebo’s second studio album 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐈’𝐦 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, was mostly played in 1998-2001: 131 from the total 134 times confirmed.
But… we might have one performance missing here

We can suggest that an early version of the song - which might have been firstly called 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏' – was played at Brian and Stefan’s very first gig together back in 1994. 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏' is one of the song titles hand-written by Brian for the setlist of that gig. An utterly priceless piece of paper was revealed to the world by Stefan during 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐕 in 2013

However, the live premiere of an album version happened to be in 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐔𝐊 on 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝐫𝐝, 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟖. The song was often included into the setlist until the concert at the 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 on 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟏.

Then, the song wasn’t played live at all for 9 years to be brought back on stage in 2010 – for 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝟑 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬!
These late versions are quite unique: Brian’s voice as well as his style of performing changed a lot since 2001! What an exciting surprise it must have been for the old-time fans!

Although, more or less verified setlist of that show doesn’t contain Scared of Girls. Looks like Placebo decided not to play it that night. Anyway, if any of you, soulmates, have been at the Lucca concert, please confirm (or not) this info. Would be great to know for sure!
