An EP includes three cover songs (Talk Talk's ๐๐ข๐๐'๐ฌ ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ค๐ ๐๐ญ, Rowland S. Howard's ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ง๐ญ and Freak Power's ๐๐จ๐ง๐ #๐), as well as the 2016 single ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ' ๐๐จ๐ง and two live recordings of ๐๐ฐ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ: live at Europavox Festival 2015 and piano version live at Evening Urgant in Moscow 2016.
๐บThe EP was released on 12" black vinyl, 12" springtime green vinyl and digital download.
๐ข ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ค๐จ: "Our last single 'Jesus Son' and the Talk Talk cover 'Life Is What You Make It' are possibly two of the most commercial tracks that we've ever done. What we have a tendency to do it react allergically against what we’ve just done, so it's highly likely that the next thing we do will be something akin to career suicide."

As for the lead track, ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง also told ๐ป๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐:
๐ข "We covered Talk Talk's 'Life's What You Make It' because it is a song from the 80s that we still liked and we wondered if we could replicate Gwen Stefani's global smash hit with her band's cover of [Talk Talk's] 'It's My Life'. That remains to be seen . . .”

In an interview with ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ magazine, ๐๐ญ๐๐๐๐ง explained what particular meaning the song has got to him:
๐ข “Life’s what you make it” is kind of a slogan to wake up to each day, you know? Sometimes I wake up with panic attacks and I just have to tell myself that this will pass and that there are a lot of good things to live for. There are a lot of things that I appreciate and I am thankful for everything that I have.“

An impressive music video, directed by ๐บ๐๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐, was released half a year later, in June 2017. It was filmed at Agbogbloshie in Accra, Ghana, the site of one of the world's largest electronic waste dumps.
๐บYou can read more about the video and Sasha Rainbow’s short film ๐๐จ๐๐ข ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐๐ฒ tightly connected to it, here:

In about two weeks, we’re going to have an occasion to talk about ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ง๐ญ and its original writer Rowland S. Howard, so stay tuned
Pretty rarely mentioned ๐๐จ๐ง๐ #๐ was written by Ashley Slater, a member of the British band ๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ค ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ. Their music was a mix of acid jazz, funk, soul, and trip hop.
๐๐จ๐ง๐ #๐ comes from the band's 1996 album More of Everything for Everybody. An interesting fact is
that it was featured in a 2004 British-American movie ๐๐จ๐๐ ๐๐, a dystopic science fiction love story.
