🌠 What more can I say than what I already said about the concert in Luxembourg ?
It was a thousand times more magical ! But I'm not going to compare, because each concert has its own atmosphere.

🌠 People arrived rather late to line up. I arrived in the early afternoon. I was allocated number 7 and the wait began. The few fans present were very nice and there was no shortage of Placebo talk, of course 😊

🌠 The doors opened, we ran and stood in the centre at the barrier. The perfect place to enjoy a concert 🎶

🌠 The opening act, 𝑬𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑵𝒚𝒍𝒐𝒏, was pretty good. A former French band from the 80s, they reunited 3 years ago. The rock they played, and updated, was powerful. For their last song they invited a man on stage (I can't remember his name !) who the singer introduced as the '𝑔𝑜𝑑𝑓𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑓 𝑃𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒𝑏𝑜'. And 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒏 was present at the side of the stage to admire the band. The song was called '𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯𝘯𝘺, a tribute song to the singer Johnny Hallyday., a famous rock French singer.

♦️ 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨'𝐬 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧...The smell of incense lit before the set permeates the atmosphere... tears come to my eyes. A sweet smell that foreshadows an intense emotional moment ⭐. The set list was the same as for the other concerts. When the first notes of 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒔

started, the crowd went wild and so did I. The tracks follow one another... 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝑱𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔, 𝑺𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒆 𝑶𝒇 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒆, 𝑯𝒖𝒈𝒛... an electric atmosphere. The audience was in total communion and the band was visibly satisfied with the fans' reception who came to appreciate them live. 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒏 greeted the audience warmly. '𝑩𝒐𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑵𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒚 ! 𝑪𝒂 𝒗𝒂 ?'. And meanwhile, 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 smiled in the distance ✨

🌠 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑰𝒏 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒌𝒚 began. It was impossible to hold back the tears that were welling up in my eyes. This song has that indescribable touch that transcends you. It strips you bare and you can't help but be swept away by its flood of emotions 💖. This was followed by 𝑩𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄, which swept away the happy sadness of 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑰𝒏 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒌𝒚 and gave way to a wave of phenomenal power. The same goes for 𝑻𝒘𝒊𝒏 𝑫𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒔. As for 𝑺𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝑩𝒚 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒔, I spent half the song with my eyes closed, surrendering to the somewhat surreal atmosphere that the song provides live. The next three songs, 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒔, 𝑺𝒂𝒅 𝑾𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒈𝒂𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒓𝒚 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒆𝒙𝒕 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆 are a logical continuation of the set list. Why ? I have no idea ! It's just the way I feel about it. This is surely due to their rhythm, which drew me even deeper into the heart of the moment. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒔... It's so good to hear them live again 🌟

🌠 𝑾𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈… Last time in Luxembourg, this song didn't have a particular effect on me. It is beautiful, that goes without any doubt ! But yesterday in Nancy, it enveloped me in a captivating bubble. The guitar squeezed my heart with a gentle delicacy. I was in the grip of a mesmerizing sublimity 💗

🌠 The band went backstage for the usual break. But before that, 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 gave a child in the audience a guitar pick with that beautiful smile on his face reflecting his joy and gratitude. Again, that smell of incense in the air and again that strange turmoil took hold of me. A sweet turmoil 💫.
The crowd grew impatient in a joyous mood and the band reappeared.

🌠 The last three songs of the set went on, still in this crazy atmosphere. The band and the audience were moving in unison.

♦️ What can I say about 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐧... They were both very happy to be on stage, proud to play their new songs and satisfied with the reception of the audience. Smiles between them, smiles from 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 towards the crowd, 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒏's numerous interactions with people, encouraging them to clap, encouraging them to shout. 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 was silent, as usual, but you could see the satisfaction in his eyes and his attitude. 𝙉𝙤 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨, 𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.❤️

🌠 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒏 came down to greet the audience before leaving. He took his time to enjoy the experience. What a magical moment to see his contentment 😍. Yes, 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨 was bright and flamboyant. There is no doubt seeing the joy of the audience !

🌠 I was able to get a set list that will go straight into my Placebo collection. In the end, it is the memory of this concert that I cherish the most. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚 💝.

🌠 The security was not at all annoying for the few times they intervened. I once again felt like hugging an agent when he was facing me... I managed to reason with myself. 😁

♦️ Last night the band was simply perfect. From the first song to the last, 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨 wanted to reach transcendence, as noted in the message before the concert. At least, I did.

My Placebo concert at the Bataclan, which for 10 years was the one where a special symbiosis with the band was achieved, was swept away with a single stroke last night 🔥.


🔶 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐎... Sometimes I wonder why I love this band so much. It's by experiencing moments like thursday’s that I finally have part of the answer.
🙏 Once again, 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑵𝑲 𝒀𝑶𝑼 𝑷𝑳𝑨𝑪𝑬𝑩𝑶. 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 !! 🎸🎵✨🎶💗🔥

🟣 We arrived around 3pm before the 𝑹𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒉𝒂𝒍. Brave fans had been there since the morning. We were allocated numbers and the waiting began... I still didn't realize at that moment that in a few hours I was going to see 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨 on stage. I have to say that in the days leading up to the concert, I was gripped by a kind of unexplained and uncontrollable anxiety, as if it was the first time. I put this feeling on the back of the two previous anxiety-filled years we all spent... This anxiety faded away the day before the concert to give way to excitement but also to a kind of disbelief... the moment I had been waiting for was going to happen and I couldn't believe it.

🟣 While queueing, I met Alison, a German fan from Cologne and Myriam, a French fan from the center of France. They both are nice people and had some good laugh 😄. All I saw in her was respect and love for the band and excitement to attend a 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨 show.

🟣 At 6.30pm the doors opened and we stood on Brian's side. A great view of the stage. That strange feeling that had been with me since the day before was still there even then. It was a '𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑐ℎ 𝑚𝑒' situation. Myriam and I were coast to coast, waiting, laughing, observing 😛

🎸 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 came on stage at about 8pm. Of all the shows I've been to, this band was one of the best opening acts ! What a stage presence ! Energetic punk led by a singer who can't stay still, living his songs, followed by equally dynamic musicians. Wow. I loved it ! Of the eight songs they performed, the only ones I remember are 𝑩𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒆, 𝑷𝒐𝒑 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒖𝒓, 𝑫𝒆𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝑴𝒂𝒅𝒈𝒆'𝒔 𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 and 𝑭𝒊𝒕 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌 where they asked the audience to shout '𝘍𝘪𝘵 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘬' when it was time to sing. Pretty cool 😊

🟣 The awareness that I was going to see 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨 on stage became more concrete and I felt serene, calmed down but still gripped by this excitement that was going up to a crescendo.

🟣 The messages asking the audience to leave the phones and live in the moment were displayed... the security guys were on their toes. They were organizing themselves in front of my eyes and I found it rather funny to watch. I had decided not to take any pictures, respecting the band's wishes, although I'm not the type to spend a concert with my phone in my hand.

🟣 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒔 began. 𝑵𝒊𝒄𝒌, 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕, 𝑩𝒊𝒍𝒍 and 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒂 entered the stage. The crowd got excited. It was 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒏's turn to show his face and I realized. I realize that I was going to live a memorable and unique moment. 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 entered as well. The cheers got louder and louder. My serenity faded away and was replaced by pure joy. I let myself be carried away by this wave of immense happiness and lost myself in the music. Nothing else mattered except 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨... I sang my heart out, danced and jumped to the rhythm of the songs.

🟣 The band was masterful, it was beyond my expectations. The new live songs are just great. 𝑵𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝑴𝒆 𝑮𝒐 is meant to be heard live because the songs take on a whole new dimension, a total immersive dimension.

🎶 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑰𝒏 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒌𝒚 is the one that touched me the most. The melody penetrated me. What a sweet feeling it is to be touched in the depths of your being... I experienced this song with tears in my eyes.💚

🎶 𝑩𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄 is as magical as ever. It's one of the songs I've been waiting for to come back in the setlist. 🤘🏻

🎶 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕.. it's a song I've loved since I was a kid. The cover by 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨 was a great surprise for me. The live version is just beautiful. The studio version is just a glimpse of what it sounds like live. It's really a thing ! 💕

🎶 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒔 and 𝒔𝒂𝒅 𝑾𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒈𝒂𝒆 are so beautiful and powerful that I think I lost my footing at some point. It was such a beautifully strange feeling. ✨

🎶 For the songs from the previous albums, it was like seeing old friends again... 𝑎ℎ 𝑠𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑡 𝑛𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑔𝑖𝑎. 🙂

🟣 I think it was at this point that 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 gave a pick to a staff member to pass it to a child in the audience on 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒏's side. 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 gave him a the most beautiful and sweetest smile ever.😍 You could read the joy on 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏’s face.

🟣 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 and 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒏 had a lot of smiles and friendly interactions and it was heartwarming to witness this. 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒏 repeatedly stood on the small stage in front of the audience and interacted with the people. Of course, 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 didn't exchange a word with the audience but, as far as I'm concerned, I don't need that at all to enjoy their show.

☆ What I did notice though, despite 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏's silence, was that he was far from being disconnected from the audience. On several occasions, while playing his guitar and observing the crowd, I saw him smile succinctly. He wasn't smiling directly at people, no. He had this little satisfied smile on his face as he directed his gaze to the floor or to his instrument. No words were necessary. He too was delighted. 💖

☆ 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒂 who was right in front of me smiled at the audience as well. I waved her to notified her the concert was great and she waved me back 🙂

🟣 I know that many people didn't like the fact that security used torches to prevent people from taking pictures. As far as I'm concerned, it didn't affect my experience and I even found it quite funny. On several occasions, one of the guys (who was quite big) stood on the foot of the fence, blocking my view. I literally had my head on his stomach. All I wanted to do was hold him and make him dance. 😂 I didn't dare... You have to take things lightly or turn them into something positive. There's no point in getting so upset over so little. Let's just say it's part of the whole thing. 😉

🟣 When 𝑹𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑼𝒑 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑯𝒊𝒍𝒍 started, I couldn't believe that it was already the end of the show. It went by in a flash. But as the saying goes: 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦, 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴.

☆ Friday, I saw an exceptional performance by 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨. I had come to experience an incredible moment and I got much better than that. It was closer to transcendence. No more unreal feelings, just stars in my eyes and lasting memories.💗

It was so refreshing to go back to the days about fifteen years ago, when people went to concerts to listen and experience them, and not to make low-quality videos on YouTube…

Molko's uniquely colored voice is as powerful and penetrating as on the albums, the accompanying projections sometimes had a hypnotic effect, and at other times they perfectly accompanied the paranoid atmosphere of some songs (Surrounded By Spies), so the result was an extremely intense experience for both the ears and the eyes. Placebo managed to impress their sound with timelessness, they still seems alive and attractive like in the days of Without You I'm Nothing or Black Market Music.

There was basically no need for words, everything was expressed by the songs themselves. Molko himself didn't speak once during the entire evening, but even so, it's not something that should be criticized. The set was built mainly on novelties. Eleven new songs, that's courage and faith in new material. But it worked and the Czech audience knew the lyrics as if they were old classics, and the response on the other side was always incredible.
Some of the best moments of the evening included the album's biggest experiments. The atmospheric Surrounded By Spies sounds absolutely wonderful live, as does the dark Went Missing. On the contrary, a big party broke out with the straightforward singles Beautiful James and Try Better Next Time, when the whole hall sang along.

Placebo had a concert planned in Prague as part of their new Never Let Me Go tour.
The moment I saw the date 31 October, I fell right into childish joy. Is this even possible?

I couldn't believe it... And immediately started saving up to buy tickets. I wanted to go to this show with my amazing daughter Katy, who is my Placebo soulmate. We began to look forward to and take notice of the ongoing tour.

Gradually, I felt the growing tension between the fans, who split into two camps – I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Brian insisted more and more on accommodating and respecting his needs, while many fans found this pressure just restrictive and intolerant. I explored the feelings echoing inside me.

The text that is shown at the beginning of every show on this tour... It could be just a few simple words... But I knew it was a glimpse into Placebo's soul.

I realized that this is exactly the Placebo that I love so much.
They could've made the no-phone ordinance two simple words. But they wrote the text so intimately that it couldn't be done more sensitively. That's why my decision was clear - my phone will stay in my pocket for the whole concert. In the end, there was no other option anyway, I was standing right in front of security and in Brian's line of sight.

Time passed, I bought two tickets and all I had to do was look forward to it. I hoped that Prague would be sold out, which it almost was. Just before the concert there were about thirty tickets left.

When D-day came, my first and thankfully only disappointment occurred😊. When Katy and I were thinking about Halloween masks, she came across some very beautiful, subtle red glowing devil's horns in the mall. She managed to buy one last piece for me. But these horns were left forgotten at home and I decided to be maskless.

Katy and I really enjoyed the train ride and we were standing in front of the hall in Prague almost exactly at noon. We weren't the first ones, we got numbers 15 and 16 on our hands from the nice foreign fans, so we could freely leave the entrance to get a coffee. After all, it was 7 hours until the doors opened and we definitely wanted to be in the front row.

These guardian angels kept communicating with us, asking if we were feeling well, offering water. Of course, there were many times during the concert when they would pull out their flashlights to shine on fans trying to take video. I noticed that they weren't so strict on those who just took a quick photo. But on the other hand, they watched very carefully what was going on in the crowd to be able to help immediately.

Opening band DEADLETTER… I openly admit, they did not find the way to my heart. In the flood of grunge/punk style, after the third song I didn't know if I was listening to the first one over and over because the sound was very bad. But that's my very subjective opinion, I don't want to diminish the quality of the band that was chosen to support the rock legend.

As the time for Placebo approached, the atmosphere thickened and the hall was filled almost to capacity. Technicians in Halloween masks😊 were checking all the musical instruments were working properly, so it was something to watch and my heart was jumping with anticipation.
Of course, the whole time the text on the panels above the stage was lit up inviting us to keep our cell phones in our pockets. Everyone had plenty of time to realize what the band was trying to convey.

When the technicians disappeared from the stage, we began to call for the start of... We were showing that we couldn't wait any longer. The hall went dark, the first notes of 🔹𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐒🔹 came on... Even though you know the song, nothing prepares you for this live experience. The beginning of this song resonate through your whole body, evoking an atmosphere of unease that makes your heart want to jump out of your body.

In total euphoria, I started crying and had to hug my daughter. It's really happening!
I didn't know who to look at before because 💗𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐧'𝐬 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐲 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐦𝐞 was just brilliant and kept catching my eye.

A tall naked transvestite with sky-long legs that any woman could envy. Dressed in a latex corset and leather sexy little briefs, stockings with garters... Huge white beads around his neck, red lipstick on his lips... And on his feet were Stef's favorite Converse sneakers, which were really funny with this outfit.

Yes, I admit, he was a very sexy zombie... When he came in front of me during the first song and connected with my eyes, I felt the whole universe loved me, that's how powerful that moment was for me.

𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘦𝘥, 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐, 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴.

The technical performance of the show was breathtaking. The videos projected on the panels were graphically very successful, I liked the fact that we don't see just ordinary shots from the stage, but that everything is thematically connected into one colourful psychedelic whole. I appreciated it the most during 🔹𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐄𝐒🔹, I couldn't help but look at the panels accompanying the spirit of this song, just a moment longer and I would be in a trance.

As soon as we saw the white piano brought on stage we started cheering, the song 🔹𝐓𝐎𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒🔹 was there, sung en masse as an anthem by most of the fans in the hall.

𝑰𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍. 𝑰 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒎, 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈.

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘵. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘣𝘰 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥. 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯'𝘴 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘵 𝘶𝘱, 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘧𝘢𝘯? 𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴, 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵! 𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘣𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘵.

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞.

First of all, ⭐𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐀 as Samara just came out of the well from the movie The Ring, absolutely brutal horror look, amazing masterpiece.

⭐𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐓 drummed the whole concert in a Pennywise mask, hats off to such a performance.

Big ⭐𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐊 embodied the satanic princess, he looked very good in those lacy tights and a dress revealing a manly hairy chest. And

⭐𝐌𝐑. 𝐋𝐎𝐘𝐃 as always modestly in the background, only his face turned green somehow, he didn't look very healthy, more like Frankenstein...

And although I didn't notice it when I arrived because I ran straight to the stage, even the sound guy's booth had Halloween decorations, which I'm sure amused many.

During the growing euphoria of the entire crowd, songs like 🔹𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐍𝐃🔹 and 🔹𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐑𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐃🔹 came on and it was over before the encore.

There are few times in my life when I've wished I could stop time... This was one of them. The addition of three amazing songs signaled the approaching end of this unique evening.
I don't need to add anything to the cover of 🔹𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐓🔹, it's really an anthem every band could wish for.
Then the hypnotic and for me the absolute best and all-expressive 🔹𝐅𝐈𝐗 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅🔹 and then the song 🔹𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐋🔹 closed the gate for something I've been waiting 23 years for.

🔴CONCERT REVIEW BY A FAN🔴

Dear friends and Placebo lovers,

for all those who have not yet had the pleasure of attending one of Placebo's concerts on this new 2022 tour, we share with you the concert review our soulmate Gaëlle Fuchs kindly sent to us.
It's about the last Placebo concert on May 27th at Bearded Theory's Spring Gathering festival, Derbyshire, UK.

“This gig felt like the first normal Placebo gig after the small ones and the stadium openings.

They seemed in a very good mood, Brian making jokes along the way and Stef playing with the different sides of the crowd to make them scream louder.

They also kept making us clap and sign of a good gig: "It's in the special way we fuck" very loud during Post Blue.

The setlist was a mix of the past 2 setlists with, very sadly, One Of A Kind missing...

I had a lot of fun dancing and singing and loved it, also to note, the return of the beanie! It was pretty cold when they played.

To say "Hi" to the audience Brian used the classic "Look at all the people here tonight" which was fun.

He introduced Kitty Litter by making a joke about it being one of his favourite thing to eat and suddenly out of nowhere between 2 songs said "I can smell weed".

They also paid tribute to Fletch from Depeche Mode, saying they woke up with very sad sudden news this week and that Fletch was a close friend who was a very genuine and kind person. They dedicated "Went Missing" to him.

I tried to be quick at taking 3 pictures during Hugz (probably took me 10 seconds max) but the girl next to me kept filming/taking pictures.

So at some point Brian pointed at her and asked her if she could stop because it was putting him off. Which made me laugh, so I got a "I saw you too" from Brian as punishmentoops.

To be honest, if he had taken Hugz of the setlist (which I really don't like) I probably would not have taken any pics.

Conclusion: better setlist Brian, thanks. Anyway my personal highlights were to have Sad White Reggae back on the setlist and the incredible energy they had and my down points where to have Hugz, Too Many Friends and Try Better Next Time in the set.”
