That after all the human suffering we've been through, we're doing our best not to repeat the same mistakes over and over again?

🔹 Doesn't it seem crazy to you that the powers of this world want to wage war again and again and keep humanity in pain and suffering?

🔹 That while in some countries farmers are forced to destroy their crops due to price controls, in others children are dying by the hundreds a day of starvation?🔹 That human rights are now being suppressed even more and more in most of the world?
🔹 That we strive for more and more material wealth, even though we know that in another part of the world even small children have to work to survive another day?
🔹 That perhaps your new mobile phone also comes from the suffering of children searching for precious metals in rubbish dumps?
🔹 That satisfying our craving for exotic crops causes a huge ecological burden due to their transport across the ocean?
🔹 That we will allow the orangutan population to disappear from the world thanks to our voracious appetites?

After a nine-year break, Placebo are back with a furious album. Singer Brian Molko explains what drove him.

On "Never let me go", the first new Placebo studio album in nine years, Brian Molko gives free rein to his anger. The anger of the introverted frontman is a blessing for the new songs. Not for ages have Molko (49) and bassist Stefan Olsdal (47) sounded so spirited and overwhelmingly powerful as on the new songs. In a telephone interview, Molko talks about his escape from England, drugs and anger at the world.
