๐ท ๐ต๐๐๐'๐ ๐ฒ๐๐ used several ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ tracks for this mix. It starts with the instrumental ๐ฐ๐๐, the B-side of ๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐'๐ ๐ช๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐, followed by ๐ท๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐, ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐, ๐จ๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฒ, ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ , ๐ป๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ ๐ด๐๐, ๐ป๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ , ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐. The result is quite captivating.✨๐
๐ท The drums and some arrangements were added by Nicolas himself.
๐ท ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐'s voice is taken from an interview he did at France Inter in 2003, according to ๐ต๐๐๐'๐ ๐ฒ๐๐ . I searched for this interview and found no trace of it... and that's a crying shame ! ๐

๐ท Knowing that ๐ต๐๐๐'๐ ๐ฒ๐๐ approaches his creations in a philosophical way, it is very interesting to note the "meaning of life" side he has given to this sound montage. The selected sentences ask questions about loneliness and emotional dependence, learning life lessons from mistakes, but moving on regardless. ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ has often stated in interviews his insecurities and lack of self-confidence, which he compensates for on stage or transfers into his often cathartic lyrics.
๐ฌ I invented a character very confident, brash, yelling - that was an exaggeration of myself. A circus freak and a party freak... It is a way to stop feeling anything, to deceive my lack of confidence, the hate of myself... And also part ways with a chronic depression that follows me since adolescence. Because if I could speak through songs, I was unable to do it everyday...

๐ฌ I don't have confidence in a great deal of things in my life, but I have an unfaltering confidence in the ability of Placebo to put on an amazing live rock'n'roll show, because we give a shit !
๐ท On the subject of ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, this quote from 1997 says a lot about the weight it has on ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐:
๐ฌ I didn’t envisage all this would be such hard work. You lose touch with your friends, and it has a really bad effect on relationships with people who have meant a hell of a lot to you. In fact, my job has contributed to the falling apart of the last meaningful relationship that I had, which happened quite recently. It gets very lonely, you spend a lot of time in the limelight and then - Bang ! - five minutes later you aren’t.

Simply thanks to ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐́๐๐๐, a great friend of Placebo ! ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐ played ๐ฝ๐๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ on his radio show ๐ท๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐ and by word of mouth, that's how ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ knew it decided to ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐.
๐ฌ At that time Facebook was just starting to take its first steps, and Nicolas Bazoge had no idea of the buzz the remix was creating among fans.
It was only much later, when he discovered by chance the number of views of an unofficial video of the remix on Youtube that he understood.
After several months of twists and turns, Nicolas finally met the power trio backstage at the Terra-Neuvas festival in Bobital in 2007, marking the end of a story that would remain one of the most exciting and creative moments of his early life, and Placebo, the most significant musical revelation of his adolescence.
