It was on ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐๐ 7๐๐ 2006 ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐́๐๐๐๐๐ (France). That night, ๐ต๐๐๐๐, in a patriotic spirit (or rather in a teasing spirit ๐) decided to wear a kilt because the Scottish team defeated France in Glasgow by a score of 1-0 in the qualifiers for the 2008 European Football Championship.๐ธ

The English trio of Placebo came to deliver their usual dose of decibels at the Galaxie d'Amnรฉville last night. A treatment that is more and more sought after, since more than 10,000 fans came to get the glam-rock prescription delivered by doctor Brian Molko and co.
For their second visit in three years at the Galaxie d'Amnรฉville, the English trio of Placebo delivered their dose of pop-rock mixed with glam to 10,000 fans, visibly craving for the songs of Brian Molko and his two acolytes, drummer Steve Hewitt and bassist Stefan Olsdal. It's no coincidence that their latest album is called ๐๐๐๐ . The addiction to this band, whose songs are openly about sex and various addictions, has now reached several generations, as the Galaxie's audience testified last night, where post-teens, thirtysomethings and forty-somethings came for the same prescription. Is it serious, doctor ? No, of course not, even if it's better not to have a heart condition when the band starts their set with their latest hit, ๐ผ๐๐๐๐-๐ ๐๐, in which the singer begs for ๐กโ๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐๐๐, ๐กโ๐๐๐'๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก.
The tone is set. On the giant screens, the fluorescent curves of an electrocardiogram scroll by. Now you have to hold on. With his head shaved, the androgynous Brian Molko is wearing a kilt tonight. After this patriotic interlude, the hits followed without moderation, from ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฆ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ to ๐โ๐ ๐ต๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ ๐ธ๐๐ or ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ด ๐พ๐๐๐ and a superb cover of Kate Bush's ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐โ๐๐ก ๐ป๐๐๐. A supercharged remedy for the blues, but beware of the side effects: you'll quickly become addicted to Placebo. ๐

๐ Although it was a long time ago, I remember that the atmosphere was special and magical and the gig brilliant and sometimes surreal. The songs, such as ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐โ๐๐ก ๐ป๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐พ, ๐๐ค๐๐๐ก๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐๐ or ๐๐๐ ๐ก๐ ๐ผ๐ ๐๐๐ (what an intro !๐คฉ) are the ones I remember the most. For ๐๐๐ ๐ก๐ ๐ผ๐ ๐๐๐ , the first notes started while the hall was in darkness. That's quite an effect ! Especially when it is followed by the cheers of the audience ๐. It was impressive ! As for ๐โ๐ ๐ต๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ ๐ธ๐๐, it set the people on fire which exploded from the very first notes๐ฅ. People went wild ! ๐ต๐๐๐๐, ๐ผ ๐พ๐๐๐ค or ๐น๐๐๐๐๐ค ๐โ๐ ๐ถ๐๐๐ ๐ต๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐ had the particularity to touch me deeply, so much so that a few tears made their way to my cheeks ๐✨.
The lighting effects (coupled with the music) were very effective, able to create an intimate atmosphere, which sometimes gave the impression of being wrapped in friendly and reassuring arms ๐ค.
When Brian made fun of the French because of the football result and because Stef asked him what was underneath his kilt, Brian decided to lift it. I burst out laughing, and the audience went into an incredible frenzy ! We saw nothing but it was crazy ! Unforgettable ! ๐
Unfortunately I don't have any personal photos or videos of this concert because I'm more the kind of girl who enjoys the moment to the fullest, singing my heart out and dancing. It was powerful !!
