This annual festival is considered the most successful Mexican festival in its first edition because with the quality and variety of its line-up featuring bands such as ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐ป๐๐ ๐บ๐๐, ๐ฑ๐๐๐๐, ๐บ๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐, ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ among others, it managed to attract more than 20,000 people, of which 35% came from other cities.
The one-day festival is distinguished by the gastronomic section that brings together the best chefs in the country, as well as the fact that each edition pays tribute to a famous artist or band. In 2017, the artist honored was ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐. According to the organizers, each one of the participating bands had been asked to include a ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ cover in their setlist, but they all ignored the request.

๐น๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ took the stage at 22:20 hrs. and for one hour and ten minutes, they celebrated their twenty years of career performing 15 of their greatest hits, with which they made the audience sing and vibrate their hearts.
There is a lot of curiosity around why ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐ wore a mask during almost the entire concert. Some rumors said it was because he was sick, since days before the concert ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ would offer in Merida had been cancelled due to illness of a member of the band - without having specified who -, but apparently it was simply because the ground of ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐, where the festival was held, was very dusty and ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ decided to wear this mask so he wouldn't breathe it. In fact, there were so many complaints about the dust from the attendees that the next year the organizers decided to hold the festival in another place.

๐ธ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ did not perform soundcheck because the day before this festival they played at ๐ท๐'๐ ๐ต๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ in ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐.
๐ธThree hours before ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐'s concert, ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐ went up to the stage where the Argentine artist ๐ญ๐๐๐ ๐ท๐́๐๐ (very good by the way) was performing to see his show and the atmosphere of the audience.
๐ธ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ and ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ were the most guarded artists during their stay at the festival.

Do you remember that photo posted on ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐'s official Instagram where ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐ is wearing a jacket with the phrase "๐ด๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ ๐ป๐๐ ๐บ๐*๐" on the back? Well, that photo was taken during the ๐น๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐ and the jacket is a creation of Mexicans ๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ and ๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐́๐ that went viral in 2016 when a photographer posed with it in front of ๐ป๐๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐๐ as a response to the U.S. President's anti-immigrant speech and shared the image on Instagram.
It later caused controversy in Mexico because a Twitter user saw some people in a hotel wearing the jacket and thought it was an offense towards the country. For this reason, one of its creators came out to explain why they chose to put this ๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ญ๐ช๐ด๐ฉ ๐ด๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ phrase on their garment:
๐️"It is not an ode or a shout to what is happening in the political issue, but an issue of what we Mexicans are doing in the world."
"The jacket is in English because we wanted to impact the world with the phrase that Mexico is cool, that Mexico is incredible for us. In Spanish it was more complicated. We all know that English is the universal language, which reigns in communication in the world, in many areas," explained ๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐́๐.
Also on the inside of each one of the jackets there is a manifesto, which reads as follows:
