One of the most distinctive labels of the band is undoubtedly the voice of ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐, nevertheless even without his voice it's not difficult to recognize a ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ song 'cause that characteristic sound and style that each member of the band has to play his instrument is present in the instrumental pieces, without losing an apex of intensity and emotion.
It's something that I find fascinating about them and that since I first heard ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐ , I'm still amazed and blown away by their creativity every time I listen to each one of their instrumental songs.

Yeah, and it is on these bases that we created "Battle For the Sun" or "Speak in Tongues". Improvisation is still a big part of our creative process, even if Stefan and I also like to write our little songs in our corner. I think the most exciting things come about in our rehearsal room, when we're doing anything. In English, we have this slightly dirty expression: "Throwing shit against the wall and seeing what sticks". That's exactly what we do by experimenting with music: we throw sounds on the tape.

This is where I really feel like a musician, in this laboratory, mixing sounds with my test tubes, until I get an explosive mixture. In this context, there are melodies that seem to come out of nowhere. It requires good collaboration, a desire to create something together, in mutual respect.

That is something we would love to do, for example, if we were asked to write the soundtrack for a film. Five or six years ago, we already had fun using experimental tracks on the B-sides of singles. But, from there, to release an entire album with instrumentals, frankly, I don't know.

I find it more and more difficult,
because the further I go, the more I have to renew myself. As a songwriter, my challenge is to always be able to surprise myself, and I admit that after six albums, I sometimes row. But, that's also what's interesting, and I don't plan to quit anytime soon.

๐๐ญ๐๐๐๐ง: Brian usually has a whole list in his head of phrases and titles that we use to title songs. But there is no real science to it. For example Evalia is the product name of the answering machine that I used to record the talking in the song.

With b-sides we do alot of experimental music, a lot of covers, instrumental and stuff like that and it is fun for us, but the stuff that we play live it's kinda our favorites. There is a certain instruction of what works better live and especially in a festival situation and usually it is a powerful rock song with lyrics. You are not gonna play like a ten minute instrumental.
