๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง: I would say the fact that we are so popular in France is for us a little mystery, but not really a huge mystery thinking of the other Anglo-Saxon bands which have a lot of success in this country. There are The Cures, Depeche Mode for example. We have something in common with them musically and in spirit. It's this dark romanticism, in which you have a very long literary, cinematographic and musical tradition as well. Maybe it's because we've always done our interviews in French, but it can't be just that alone. There must be other things. But we don't really try too hard to find out what these things are, because we work as artists in a very, very instinctive way. So if we find the reason, we might be a little too aware of that answer and then we might start working in a different way. So we make the decision to never explain anything, to keep working this way, to follow our instincts , which has served us very well until now. And that made us very popular in this country.

๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง: Absolutely. We don't feel like telling people as in a Hollywood movie tells you how to feel. It's important to us that there is an ambiguity left in every song so that each person, who listens to it, can live their personal story through that song. I think that's why our music has been so successful. It's not hiding behind things, but say things as they are.

๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง: Being in a rock band is a little bit like looking for the Peter Pan syndrome. It is a life almost without responsibility. We maybe... It took us a lot longer to grow up. We may still have the adolescent spirit. So maybe that's why teens understand what we're doing.

It's our most extroverted that stands out, an aspect of us that wouldn't be so flamboyant. It is an extraordinary and almost orthodox situation. You are in front of a lot of people who are adoring you, like in a pagan ceremony actually. It is a very special experience that is hard to describe but it is very moving and very soulful.

๐This private ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ acoustic concert was held on August 31, 2006 at the ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ in ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐.
The ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ is a former distillery where ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ liqueur was manufactured from 1903, an aperitif made with Norwegian pine extracts and spices that was very popular in the 1920s and 1930s, being exported all over ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ต๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐ and even ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐. The drink was banned by the Germans during the war and after 1945 it was no longer as successful as before. The ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ factory ceased production in 1995 and the ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐-๐๐๐๐๐ building was classified as a historical monument in 2002. The building has four rooms and a 700m² hall, which are currently used for receptions, photo shoots, films, fashion shows and other events. If you pay close attention during the ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐ concert, you can see at the back of the stage old stills, barrels, wooden caves and bottles of the factory that are still there. A wonderful venue, isn't it?
To close this post, let's watch this beautiful and magical ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐'s acoustic set. Don't forget to share your thoughts and feelings about the concert and the interview dear soulmates. Have a fantastic weekend!
