The b-side tracks were โDrowning by numbersโ and โOxygen thiefโ. The title-song โCome homeโ was an alternate version compared to the one that later appeared on the band's debut album.
The single version of โCome homeโ was produced by Brian and engineered by Fulton Dingley at Blackwing Studios in London. Different to that the album version was recorded at Westland Studios in Dublin. Like the rest of Placebo's first album it was produced by Brad Wood and engineered by Ed Kenehan.

Home, to me, is nothing more than a place where I am at the moment. Maybe itโs where your good friends are. But I canโt be everywhere at the same time so, I donโt know..."
