On October 22 and 23, 2008 at ๐ณ๐ ๐ช๐๐๐́ ๐ ๐ ๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐ in ๐ท๐๐๐๐, ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐, two concerts dedicated to the iconic concept album "๐ณ'๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ต๐๐๐๐๐" by ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐ singer ๐บ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ took place.
This show, conceived, arranged and orchestrated by ๐ฑ๐๐๐-๐ช๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ฝ๐๐๐๐๐๐, who was the arranger and co-composer of this album released in 1971, had already been presented two years earlier with great success in London on October 21, 2006. The first part of the show was dedicated to ๐ฝ๐๐๐๐๐๐'s debut album called "๐ณ'๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐" (1972) and then all the tracks from ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐'s album were performed. The concerts in the ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐ capital featured special guests such as ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐, ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐, ๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐-๐ฉ๐๐๐ and ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐ (๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐) who sang together "๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ต๐๐๐๐๐". The music was performed by the ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐; a rhythm section comprising drummer ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐-๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐, bassist ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐ (bassist of the original ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐’s album), guitarists ๐ช๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ and ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐; and a young ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ choir.

Now I want to share two quotes from ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐ and ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ about what ๐บ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ and his music inspires on them.

๐คAh! He's a total genius and very mischievous and naughty and you know it makes me want to learn French a lot better, so I can appreciate his lyrics more. My favorite album is that one, "The ballad of Melody Nelson" album and that was like a real kind of epiphany in production when I heard that, like just the sound of the recording of the bass and the drums is amazing, so yeah, I love Serge.

๐️๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง: Yes, of course, because that album is one of my favourites. Even though there's an extremely suspicious morality to that album. That's what's interesting too, this taboo love story. For me, it was really the quality of Mr. Vannier's orchestration that I find astonishing. I think it was really a sonic polaroid of a time in the 60s when the sound was like that, with its melancholic strings and wow I think it had a lot of... Yes he's a provocateur but he's also someone who I think was not very comfortable in his skin. I'm also interested in trying to understand that because I find myself there a little bit.
