A generation gap is the difference of opinion between one generation and another regarding beliefs, politics or values. In current usage, it often refers to a gap between young people and their parents or grandparents.
Rock music has always been perceived as rebellious music, with all the clichรฉs attached to it. "Drug sex and rock'n'roll" is a worldwide sentence we often hear when talking about rock music, may it be 'soft' rock or 'hard' rock. Many rock bands have attracted a lot of interest and attention in their time.It can be also combined with a particular style of clothing or a specific attitude in order to shock.
