Having said that, today in my post, I want to share with you an 𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑽𝑰𝑬𝑾 that was made in Mexico with 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒏 𝑶𝒍𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒍 via telephone while he was at his home in Germany, which was published a few days before the release of the seventh 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒃𝒐 album "𝑳𝒐𝒖𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆" (2013). I've translated it for you and I've also added some 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒃𝒐 music. Have a good time reading and listening! 😉 💕 Much love & take care 💜

❶ 𝐎𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐜𝐨:
“I have always loved the warm welcome from the Mexican public. The band has a very good relationship with people, is very passionate. I remember that on one occasion we had technical problems on stage, but the audience was very patient while the matter was sorted out. They forgave us everything."

⭐𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒏 probably refers to the moment at 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒃𝒐's concert in Mexico City on September 30, 2009, when he had technical problems with his bass and 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑴𝒐𝒍𝒌𝒐 asked help to the audience to cheer him on.🥰💕 You can watch this below:

❷ 𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝'𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐜𝐨: “It is very certain that we will return to Mexico. Every time we have a release, the band goes on tour around the world for about two years. This new tour starts in November and will take us through Europe until the end of the year”.

❹ 𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞: “Of course, as time goes by, the process becomes more difficult, especially because of the steps taken to do it. [In this case] we started by accident. We were writing for different reasons and through that, we ended up writing what would be our next material. The album was recorded and mixed last year."

⭐The band has stated that during the recording of the "𝑩𝟑 𝑬𝑷" (2012) came the idea of recording a new album.💿✨

❻ 𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐮𝐦: "These are issues that have resonance in the current community and the interaction with the people around us. For example, "Too many friends" questions the relationships we form in the cyber world. Is it healthy? What kind of friendships do we have? The guy in the song is a guy who has to deal with loneliness despite the amount of friends he has on social media."

❽ 𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥: “Once the songs are recorded, they start to take on a life of their own. You see that in the audience's reaction when you play one of their favorites. There are songs that survive this way (the ones we always play for example) and there are others that don't. We would like to play the new material as much as possible, but you have to give the old material space so that it can live again."

❾ 𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠: "Yessssss... 'Pure Morning' for example. It's not that I hate them, but there are songs that I don't miss. When we play them live we just make them work within the context of the setlist."

"I really liked James Blake's new album [Overgrown]. It's a pretty eclectic record and I liked what he did with the arrangements and the instrumentation."
