Dear soulmates,
another year has passed, perhaps the strangest year in our lives ... We have all had hard times, paralyzed by the fear of the unknown.
But at the same time with the ongoing pandemic, millions of people are protesting for the preservation of their human rights.
And what about the other millions who are fighting for the daily survival of a long generation. These are still open burning issues related to the fight against modern-day slavery, poverty, hunger, the fight for repressed women's rights or freedom of religion and the equality of sexual minorities.
Why do I mention that?

Human Rights Day is the day in 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The formal inception of Human Rights Day dates from 1950, after the Assembly passed resolution 423 inviting all States and interested organisations to adopt 10 December of each year as Human Rights Day.

What Are Human Rights?
Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination.
