Ufa - the Russian city that was founded as city-fortress in 1574. It is the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan (I am shocked again, how to read it, and moreover to spell, so here is the transcription: [bəʂkərtɐˈstan]).
The city is located on the river bank Béla, at the confluence in it of the Ufa Rivers and Dyoma.
Ufa is the largest center of oil processing in the Volga region and in the Urals, large transport knot, the scientific, cultural and religious center of Russia. The main religious faiths – Islam and orthodox Christianity.
Ufa is the most green Russian the million-plus city.
Here you will find more info about this city.
The main museums of Ufa are:
- Bashkirsky State art museum, named after M.V.Nesterov
- V.I.Lenin house-museum;
- Archaeology and Ethnography museum of Ufa scientific center of the Russian Academy of Sciences
- Museum of geology and natural deposits of Bashkortostan Republic;
- The museum of forests;
- Museum of modern art of Bashkortostan Republic, named after N.Lutfullin

Ufa is the most green city among cities-millionaires of Russia.

Tasty Tramcar in the square outside of Guest's Yard (mall) on Lenin, only in the summer. Good cheap schwarma and donuts. The schwarma is like a Russian burrito. ~70 rubles per person.
Indochina Restaurant ul. Communist 80, - a great Chinese restaurant, one of the few places in Ufa where you can get something that is spicy. They have normal Western-style Chinese dishes such as egg rolls, sweet and sour pork, etc. and a few unusual things as well. ~500 rubles per person

Shopping in Ufa:
9th Century Neo-classical
Shopping Mall in Ufa.
Guest Yard in Ufa, Russia was built in 1866 as an indoor shopping center of the city.
Gostiny dvor is a historic Russian term for an indoormarket, or shopping centre. It is translated from Russian either as "Guest Yard" or "Merchant Yard", althoughboth translations are admittedly inadequate. Such structures, constructed in every large Russian town during the first decades of the 19th century, are fineexamples of Neoclassical architecture.

Nizhny Novgorod is a cultural heritage city. There are so many historical treasures that are kept here I would like to visit it one day. By the way it has its own Kremlin...
Now lets have a look at the Russian cook and let us visit some very interesting places!! ;-)
Food for thought: pop-up cafes take over Nizhny Novgorod
Sounds really cool!!
In the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod, Restaurant Day, a four-times-a-year global event when ordinary folk can set up pop-up cafes, has gone from being a niche to a citywide occasion.
-Top of the Pops
A celebration of food across Russia and we stop in Nizhny Nogorod
-Soviet kitchen: a culinary tour of Stalin’s iconic cookbook
Seasonal appeal: Boris Akimov is standing up for real food

To be honest when I first time saw the writing of Krasnoyarsk in English I was a bit confused and couldn't read it and understand the word, because it was so different to me! But Yekaterinburg is much easier... That is funny.
So let's see what we can find this time.
Yekaterinburg was founded as plant-fortress by the order of Peter the Great in 1723 on the Iset River. The place for plant was chosen by V. Tatishev and constructed by V. de Gennin (Russian engineer from Germany). There is a monument on the prospect Lenina that is dedicated to founders of the city - Tatishev & Gennin.
The fortress, where iron, cast iron and copper were produced, and the city itself was called in honor of Peter's the First wife - Empress Yekaterina the First (she was from Latvia).

And do not be lazy read about Katherine l and Peter I here
You should read about them and not only them, because it's the best time of Russian history!! I am serious!

Yekaterinburg is the capital of Ural, administrative center of Sverdlovsk oblast, that is located near geographic border between Europe and Asia, that's why first place we visit is the Monument on the borderline between Europe and Asia!
This city seems to me far more interesting than Omsk, I think it's very pleasant and lovely place.
As we know the guys are interested in places of interest, that is why we visit the Historic center of Yekaterinburg that is situated on "Plotinka" or Dam on the Iset River, here you'll find plenty of architecture sights, monuments and time capsule.
To the west "Plotinka" you will find the Square of 1905 - the main square of Yekaterinburg on which all the holidays, concerts and parades usually take place.
Here are Lenin Monument and Administration building.

There are so many museums in Yekaterinburg, or how it was called before - Sverdlovsk, it's recommended to visit Aterinburgsky Museum of Fine Arts and Museum of History of Stone-cutting and Jeweler Art, also you can look inside some galleries as "Art Dictionary" or the "Field", Museum of History and Archeology of Central Ural Mountains, Nature Museum, Ural mineralogical museum, science and equipment Museum and Museum of the Sverdlovsk railroad.
Who doesn't know Brian loves listening to classic music? Yes, we all know about it, so let's go to Ekaterinburg Academic Opera and Ballet Theater!!

To relax and have fun you may go to Mayakovsky Park, there you can find a little zoo, Stones' garden, different cafes, attractions and other. And at last, natural park reserve "Cervine Streams" - the most beautiful place with the pure river, untouched nature and numerous tourist tracks.
